ExactTarget new release is built for fanchisees, agents and more...

The latest release of ExactTarget for Enterprises has new capabilities ideally built for franchisees or any other company that needs to act local while maintaining a strong corporate presence.  Banks and insurance companies are two more sectors that come to mind when reviewing the "distributed sending" capabilities of ExactTarget.

The new offering requires an Enterprise 2.0 license, which makes sense given the prior structures built around Lock & Publish, On Your Behalf and Business Unit marketing.  This latest offering continues to build out robust capabilities for corporate marketers while enabling local access and execution.

A few things that the HQ marketer will appreciate include:
  • Central management of subscriber lists while allowing local marketing managers the ability to send campaigns using pre-built templates
  • Review and approval of campaigns at HQ from local branch office marketers
  • Central review and assessment of campaign performance across the entire organization even when campaigns are run locally

Distributed sending is a great addition to the already robust enterprise capabilities of ExactTarget.
